The work combines digital design and physical models. The demonstration shows the biomodel’s movement; its educational use depends on the exercise and its context.

3D IMMOBILISATION

Designed for the forearm and wrist.

Custom design and manufacture

Custom forearm and wrist immobilisation devices made through scanning, digital modelling and 3D printing.

Clinical assessment determines the type of immobilisation and follow-up. Digital design allows the geometry to be tailored to the case.

3D INSOLES

From design to a reviewable model.

Software in development

Software development for designing custom insoles, adjusting their geometry and reviewing a 3D model before export.

The system allows the design to be reviewed and adjusted for each foot. Whether an orthosis is appropriate is decided during clinical assessment, based on the individual’s needs.
